For those who want a better understanding of the phone match confidence levels, here are the definitions as supplied by our phone matching provider:

Confidence Level 1 Criteria (72.4%)

Input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Last name or phonetic last name
• First name or first initial
• Middle initial
• House number
• Street name

Confidence Level 2 Criteria (12.2%)

Input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Last name or phonetic last name
• First name or first initial
• House number
• Street name

Confidence Level 3 Criteria (0.7%)

Input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Last name or phonetic last name

And one of the following groups:

• First name or first initial
• Middle initial
• Apartment number or zip code

• First name or first initial
• House number
• Middle initial or zip code

• Street name
• House number

Confidence Level 4 Criteria (6.1%)

Input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Last name or phonetic last name
• First name or first initial

And one of the following groups:

• House number

• Street name
• Middle initial or apartment number or zip code

Confidence Level 5 Criteria (1.6%)

Input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Last name or phonetic last name
• First name or first initial
• Apartment number
• Zip code

Confidence Level 6 Criteria (4.5%)

Phone numbers must be no more than one year old and input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Exact Last name

Plus two or three of the following:

• First name or initial
• Middle initial
• Street name
• House number
• Apartment number
• Zip code

Confidence Level 7 Criteria (2.5%)

Phone numbers must be no more than one year old and input names and addresses must match:

• City
• Phonetic Last name
